July 4th Solemn Votive Pro Patria

On the 4th of July 2019, the Reverend Father Damien Trudeau, celebrated a Solemn Votive Pro Patria Holy Communion at Saint David’s. The parish and vestry were very pleased to come together to celebrate the 243rd anniversary of the founding of our country with a service of Holy Communion. At the service, our country’s flag was presented during the offertory by Mr. Donald Truslow of Afton, VA. Mr. Truslow is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served our country in the United States Army. Join us this Thirteenth Sunday in Trintytide as we worship according to the 1928 Book of Common Prayer with Holy Communion at 11:00 a.m.

We celebrate our organist, Clara Stelow, on her last Sunday at St. David’s. Following the service, please join us for a luncheon to honor Clara and send her off with an abundance of good wishes as she departs to attend the University of Chicago. 

11:00 a.m. Morning Prayer on 09/08/2019

Join us this twelfth Sunday in Trintytide as we worship according to the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and pray Morning Prayer at 11:00 a.m. at Saint David’s Anglican Church.

Fr. John Ayres will lead a book study at 10:15 a.m. prior to Morning Prayer. We are currently studying from The Most Rev. Mark Haverland’s book on “Anglican Catholic Faith & Practice” and all are welcome to join!
