July 4th Solemn Votive Pro Patria

On the 4th of July 2019, the Reverend Father Damien Trudeau, celebrated a Solemn Votive Pro Patria Holy Communion at Saint David’s. The parish and vestry were very pleased to come together to celebrate the 243rd anniversary of the founding of our country with a service of Holy Communion. At the service, our country’s flag was presented during the offertory by Mr. Donald Truslow of Afton, VA. Mr. Truslow is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served our country in the United States Army.
